Assisted Living

Our Assisted Living community is exclusively for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. We offer a safe, secure environment that is stimulating and respectful of residents’ independence and dignity. Attentive, professional staff are trained to listen to residents, interact, and respond creatively to their needs and a.nurse is on call 24 hours a day.

Your family member will enjoy the company of neighbors, and participate in a variety of activities designed specifically to engage persons with mild to moderate dementia. Residents in assisted living also participate in our Adult Day program, and Active Lives programs, and can enjoy the following:

• Memory strengthening skills;
• Music and live performances;
• Creative expression through studio and performing arts and;
• Trips to area museums, parks and other cultural activities.

When your family member's illness has progressed and Assisted Living is no longer meeting his or her needs, our dementia specialists prepare a transition plan that eases the change to skilled nursing care. Unlike most dementia care programs, we provide continuity of care at all stages of the disease.
