Early Memory Loss Programs

Marci and Tom

If you know someone who is experiencing early memory loss, we can help. Active Lives: An Early Memory Loss Program offers a new and dynamic approach to strengthening “brain skills” which incorporates memory enhancement techniques, physical exercise and creative arts. The program takes advantage of many community resources throughout Greater Hartford and meets in museums, coffee shops, fitness centers, public libraries, bookstores and wherever interesting things happen. Sessions are offered 2 days each week and each session is $75.00.

There are only a couple of early memory loss programs in Connecticut and Active Lives the first to serve the Central Connecticut region. Through this program, we can provide valuable support to individuals affected by early memory loss and help them to sustain their independence through services tailored to their needs.

Active Lives is a valuable addition to the array of programs already available to families coping with issues related to early memory loss. Participant’s family members have access to support, education and resources designed to improve their quality of life.
